Bill Barring Nuclear Waste Imports Sent To Committee

Law360, New York (November 03, 2009) -- A bill aimed at stopping the importation of low-level nuclear waste that was drafted in response to a pending permit to import 20,000 tons of Italian low-level nuclear waste moved one step closer to passage Tuesday after a key House subcommittee reported the bill for consideration by the full House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
